Add Ritual Online Ordering to your website

Ritual Online Ordering needs to be added to your website by you or your team. Please access your Ritual Online Ordering link here. Every website is different but here are three suggestions to ensure your online ordering is effective and drives sales:

1. Clearly label your ordering button as your own (i.e. Order Now, Order Online)
2. Ensure your ordering button is highly visible in your top navigation and homepage
3. Reduce the number of clicks it takes for a customer to get to your Ritual Online Ordering page. One-click is ideal.

Adding Link to Top Navigation or Main Menu:

1. The first step is to visit the Customizer (Appearance > Customize). You’ll find the Menus section all the way at the bottom.
2. In the Menus section, you can create new menus, assign them to locations in the theme and edit existing menus.
3. Open the Menus section.
4. Create a new item on your Menu or click on an existing one to rename. 
5. Select the Custom Links section.
6. Enter in the URL and Link Text for the new menu item. This will be your Ritual Web Link.
7. Ritual's recommended titles are:
   • Order Pickup or Order Now if you have Pickup only enabled.
   • Order Now or Pickup & Delivery if you have Delivery enabled.
8. Click the Add to Menu button to add the new menu item to your menu.
9. Click Publish.

Wix

Adding Link to Top Navigation:

1. Click Menus & Pages on the left side of the Editor.
2. Click the Add a Link icon:
3. Select the link type and enter the link details. This will be your Ritual Web Link.
4. Enter the name for the menu item. We recommend:
   1. Button Label: this is the text that will appear on your button.  We recommend:
      
      • Order Pickup or Order Now if you have Pickup only enabled.
      • Order Now or Pickup & Delivery if you have Delivery enabled.
5. Choose whether your link opens in a new window or the current window. 
6. Click Done.

Adding Button:

1. Click Add (+) on the left side of the Editor.
2. Click Button.
3. Click Icon Buttons.
4. Drag a button onto your page.
5. Click the Link icon
6. Select a link type (URL).
7. Add the relevant information, including your Ritual Web Link. We recommend:
   
   • Order Pickup or Order Now if you have Pickup only enabled.
   • Order Now or Pickup & Delivery if you have Delivery enabled.
8. Click Done.

Squarespace

Adding Link to Top Navigation:

1. In the Home Menu, click Pages.
2. Click the + icon next to the section where you want to add a link.
3. In the Create New Page menu, select Link. In the link editor, enter the link text under Link Title. We recommend:
   • Order Pickup or Order Now if you have Pickup only enabled.
   • Order Now or Pickup & Delivery if you have Delivery enabled.
4. Enter Ritual Web Link.
5. Switch the Open in New Window toggle on to have the link open in a new tab.
6. Click Save in the link editor and then click Save again to add the link to your navigation.

Adding Link to Top Navigation:

1. Edit a page or post (i.e. in an Order Online section), click an insert point, and select Button from the menu.
2. In the Text box, enter text for the button label. We recommend:
   • Order Pickup or Order Now if you have Pickup only enabled.
   • Order Now or Pickup & Delivery if you have Delivery enabled.
3. In the Clickthrough URL box, add the Ritual Web Link.
4. Style the button size and alignment.
   1. Under Size, choose Large, Medium, or Small.
   2. Under Alignment, choose Right, Left, or Center.
   3. Use the Button Block editor to change the button size and alignment.
   4. Use the Style section on the left navigation menu to update colours to match your website or shape of the button.
5. Click Apply to save your changes.

Shopify

Adding Link to Top Navigation:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Navigation.
2. On the Navigation page, click the title of the menu that you want to edit (i.e. your top navigation bar).
3. Click Add menu item.
4. Enter a title for the menu item. We recommend:
   • Order Pickup or Order Now if you have Pickup only enabled.
   • Order Now or Pickup & Delivery if you have Delivery enabled.
5. Click the Link field, and enter your Ritual URL. This is the link that was shared with you. Test the link to ensure it works.
6. Click Save Menu.

BentoBox:

Adding Link to Top Navigation:

1. Log in to the backend and click on Website > Pages in the left-hand sidebar.
2. Click the blue Add Page button that appears at the top right of the pages section.
3. Enter a name for your link in the Name field
   1. We recommend:
      • Order Pickup or Order Now if you have Pickup only enabled.
      • Order Now or Pickup & Delivery if you have Delivery enabled.
   2. Choose Link from the Nav Type dropdown and the Link URL in the bottom field. This will be your Ritual Web Link, shared with you by our team.
4. Click Save & go back to pages to rearrange. 
5. You will return to the Pages layout, where your new link will be at the top of the list. Drag the link to the desired order in the list.

Adding a Button:

1. URL: Choose URL from the button type dropdown and fill in the fields below.
2. Button Label: this is the text that will appear on your button.  We recommend:
   • Order Pickup or Order Now if you have Pickup only enabled.
   • Order Now or Pickup & Delivery if you have Delivery enabled.
3. Button URL: the link that your button will point to. This will be your Ritual Web Link.
4. Button Opens New Window: check this box to have your link open in a new window. 

Button Uses Alt Colors: if your site’s template has an alternative color scheme set up for buttons, checking this box will enable this color scheme in this section. This is useful to ensure buttons are visible against light and dark backgrounds.
