Customers select a specific date and time for their order to be picked up or delivered. You can give your customers the freedom to order at any time, even when you’re closed.
You’ll be notified when a scheduled order is placed and again when it’s time to prepare the order.
Scheduled orders can be placed from 30 minutes after you open to 30 minutes before you close.
At the time of publication, Scheduled Ordering is only available for Google Food Ordering and Ritual Online Ordering orders.
How to enable Scheduled Ordering?
Navigate to Settings tab > Store Configurations > Scheduled Orders. To enable scheduled ordering, click “Set Up Scheduled Orders”
Select the number of days in advance that customers can place an order, then click Enable Scheduled Orders.
How to disable Scheduled Orders
To disable scheduled orders, click on Disable Scheduled Orders. Disabling scheduled orders will prevent customers from scheduling new orders. It will not affect orders that have already been scheduled.
Accepting Scheduled Orders with an Ordering Device
Scheduled orders will appear on your ordering device, under the Scheduled Tab. You will have the option to print or cancel a scheduled order at any time before the order is placed as an Active order.
Scheduled orders will move from the Scheduled Tab to the Active Tab at the time the order needs to be prepared, based on the overall preparation time required. At this point, once the order is moved to the Active tab, you will need to Accept the order and prepare it as normal.
