Restaurants may sell alcohol through the Ritual marketplace app and on their own websites powered by Ritual, in specified locations. Contact us at partners@ritual.co to learn more about whether this is permitted in your location.
In order to sell alcohol on the platform, merchants must hold a valid liquor license. The license number must be shared with Ritual for our records and must be made available upon request if we are unable to locate it on public databases. In addition, merchants are responsible for:
- Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to the sale and service of alcohol items;
- Ensuring their license is valid for alcohol sales through Ritual; and
- Immediately removing alcohol items from their menu should their license expire or be revoked.
Partners may not add alcohol to a menu without explicit permission from Ritual to do so. If alcohol is added in a manner that violates these rules, it will be removed and may lead to termination from the Ritual platform.
For questions on selling alcohol on Ritual and/ or if you’re POS integrated and would like to add alcohol to your menu, please contact us partners@ritual.co.
