Accepting orders over email is recommended if your email is easily accessible next to your cashier or kitchen.
If you choose to accept orders via email, below is how it works:
- We send an email to you as soon as an order is placed.
- Within the email, you will see all relevant order details such as the customer name, expected order ready time, and item details.
- Open the email and click on View Order. A new page will open up where you will have the option to Accept or Reject the order.
The preparation time cannot be altered currently with email orders, so make sure that your item prep times are accurate.
You have a maximum of 10 minutes to accept an order, after which it will be automatically rejected.
If you have an order that hasn’t been accepted for over three minutes, an automatic phone call to your store will be initiated asking you to accept the order.
